Job Description

Credentialing Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented Credentialing Specialist to verify and maintain accurate contact and credentialing information for a large public resource directory. This role involves making outbound calls, updating records, and ensuring data consistency across systems. Your work will help ensure vital community information remains current and reliable for those who depend on it.

Contract Details:
  • Type : Part-time
  • Hours : 20 hours per week (normal business hours, 8 AM-4 PM or 9 AM-5 PM)
  • Pay Rate : $22 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
  • Validate and update directory contact information and related documentation
  • Review and confirm details for accuracy and completeness
  • Process updates in accordance with established policies and workflows
  • Respond to inquiries via phone, email, and voicemail with accurate, solution-oriented communication
  • Make outbound calls to directory contacts to confirm current information
Required Experience:
  • 1+ year in credentialing or data accuracy systems
  • Strong phone etiquette and ability to handle professional conversations
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
