Do you have a strong desire to assist others in achieving their personal fitness goals? Then you're just the person we're searching for as our next personal trainer at our busy fitness studio! You'll be assessing clients' fitness levels, developing individualized training programs, and ensuring they're using equipment safely. $20 - $35 hourly DOE

• Hold yourself and your clients to the highest standards of conduct and safety
• Decrease the chance of injury by teaching clients appropriate techniques for all exercises, especially for specialized equipment
• Ensure all workout programs are appropriate for each client by doing individualized fitness evaluations
• Customize training routines to assist clients in achieving their fitness goals while staying within their current physical capabilities
• Track and adjust client progress and make changes to fitness plans accordingly

• Our next coach will not only have superior technical coaching abilities and the ability to train privately and in groups, but will also have the skills to get to know clients, what motivates them, and understand the deeper reasons behind why they train, because, in reality, we are in the people business. We go to great lengths to get to know the clients.

• Our next coach must be willing to take feedback and constructive criticism. Must be willing to practice what you preach. We will put a ton of time and work into you, and we expect the same.

• Possesses strong organizational and time management skills
• Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with clients and coworkers
• Currently certified as a fitness instructor or personal trainer
• Must have a strong focus on putting the guest first with exceptional customer service experience
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent certification (GED)

• A current personal training certification from an accredited organization. Preferably, NASM, CPR, First Aid, and AED.
• Experience with Frequent Fitness Evaluations.
• Ability to Demonstrate Proper Detailed Exercise Instruction and experience in working with all types of individuals to ensure all workout movements are appropriate for each client's physical capabilities, and revise this based on clients' progress toward their goals, with attention to detail to reduce the risk of injury by teaching clients good form for all movements.
• Maintain all gym policies, standards, and safety requirements to ensure that clients are safe and comfortable while training.
• Possess a high standard of honesty, ethics, and integrity, a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and high energy.
• Willingness to start in a part-time position and, ultimately, if it is a good fit, we are looking for a full-time coach.

BONUS QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous personal training experience (fitness studio, health club, in-home trainer, etc).
• Basic nutrition knowledge or a nutrition coaching certificate.
• Kinesiology/Exercise Science Degree.
