Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Emergency Department position requiring a KS or compact RN license and current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule from 19:00 to 07:00
• Required to work 1-2 weekends in a 4-week period
• 13-week contract assignment
• Responsibilities include providing emergency nursing care during night shifts
• Workplace Violence Prevention certification (DCI/BVP) can be completed through Relias or free CDC resources
• Flu shot, COVID vaccination, drug screen, and PPD testing may be required
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers

\n \n Requirements\n

• Active KS or compact RN license
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association or Red Cross
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in the Emergency Department specialty
• Primary source verification of professional license and/or certification required within 30 days of start and updated upon expiration
• NIHSS and DCI/BVP certifications required or must be completed prior to or during assignment
