This opportunity is uniquely positioned to help an ambitious transfer pricing / international tax professional develop key business and operational analytic competency that will allow them to become industry leading tax and transfer pricing professionals or (b) build a foundation on which they can move into broader financial roles in Treasury, FP&A, Accounting. This role will be responsible for monitoring and reporting corporate transfer pricing performance, spotting and remediating potential issues, and identifying and executing potential opportunities for supply chain optimization. It must work shoulder to shoulder not just with the global transfer pricing and greater tax teams, but other functional leader in supply chain, operations, finance (especially financial planning and analysis (FP&A), trade, and indirect tax), and IT. Will provide deep transfer pricing, economics, budgeting, forecasting, and analytical experience to position this person for advancement both in tax and within the greater finance function. Responsibilities include being a key member of the Global Transfer Pricing Team reporting directly to the Senior Director, Global Transfer Pricing; driving the end-to-end Operational Transfer Pricing (OTP) process including interactions between relevant stakeholders; collaborating with business leaders and local finance organizations to provide accurate forecasts, analyze variances, and assess and implement measures; ownership of the Operating Income (OI) Schedule used to monitor transfer pricing models in legal entities across EMEA, Americas, and APAC quarterly; developing and reviewing financial models to analyze business and tax planning impacts; working with Tax Accounting to ensure OI alignment with transfer pricing models; proposing and implementing transfer pricing adjustments; managing legal entity intragroup agreements; partnering with cross-functional teams to operationalize transfer pricing policies; finalizing transfer pricing adjustments for annual financial statements; undertaking transfer pricing reviews and year-end OTP processes; enhancing OI processes and controls; supporting automation and digitalization initiatives; directing business setups from an OTP perspective globally; training stakeholders; collaborating with M&A deal teams on valuation models and financial projections. Travel required is 25-35% annually. The role requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills, project management and organizational skills, strong financial modeling skills with proficiency in Excel, Alteryx, and familiarity with SAP, HFM, Excel VBA preferred. Experience in multiple foreign jurisdictions including Americas (US/MX), EMEA (EU, Morocco, Tunisia), and APAC (China, South Korea, Singapore, Japan, India) is needed. A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Business Administration is required; Master’s degree is helpful. Accounting training or experience is strongly preferred. 4-6+ years tax experience within multinational publicly traded corporations or Big 4 public accounting firms is required, with strong experience in large multinationals preferred.
