Master’s degree in School Counseling, Counseling or a related field, active School Counselor license and 1+ years School Counselor experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This contract position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on student development, providing guidance, support, and resources to help young learners succeed academically, socially, and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling services to students across K-12 grade levels
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to address student needs and promote a positive school environment
• Develop and implement strategies to support academic achievement and personal growth
• Assist students in college and career planning, including goal setting and decision-making skills
• Participate in crisis intervention and provide referrals to community resources as needed
• Maintain accurate, confidential records in accordance with school policies and ethical guidelines

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid counseling certification or licensure appropriate for K-12 school counseling
• Experience working with diverse student populations in school settings
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Knowledge of counseling techniques, developmental psychology, and educational resources
