What You’ll Do - Own and manage high-value refrigerated produce freight from quote to delivery
- Build and maintain strong carrier and shipper relationships
- Track reefer loads in real time, monitor temperatures, and prevent claims before they happen
- Ensure compliance with FSMA, HACCP , and all cold chain regulations
- Leverage tools like DAT, McLeod, project44 , and more to optimize freight
- Work remotely-but remain plugged into the Milwaukee market
What You Bring - 5+ years in freight brokerage, with a strong focus on refrigerated or perishable commodities
- Strong knowledge of reefer equipment, cold chain best practices, and food safety
- Proven ability to manage urgent, high-stakes loads
- Milwaukee-area resident with the flexibility to meet with clients or attend team events locally
- Tech-savvy and self-driven-you can hit the ground running in a remote setup
- Relationship-first mindset with a competitive edge
