Experience:
Minimum of 18 months recent permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience is required prior to travel.


License:
Must have a permanent Ohio license or compact state license in hand at the time of submission.


Certifications:
BLS and ACLS required.


Must-Have:
One reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for is required.
Active required certifications with no pending issues are necessary.
Background checks of any kind are reviewed by the facility.
No open cases will be accepted.
Travelers may be submitted for one job at a time.


Description:
This position is for a registered nurse specializing in Med/Surg Telemetry.
The role is for night shifts, consisting of three 12-hour shifts from 7 PM to 7:30 AM.
Candidates must possess a strong clinical background in telemetry nursing.
Responsibilities include monitoring patient vital signs and telemetry data, administering medications, and providing patient education.
The nurse will work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team to ensure quality patient care.
Candidates must demonstrate effective communication and critical thinking skills.
A negative drug screen is required within 12 months of the start date.
Modules and training are required prior to starting the position.
Candidates will need to complete onsite fingerprints before beginning employment.
Candidates may extend the contract for a maximum of 18 months, after which a break is required.
All candidates must adhere to the facility's policies and procedures.
