Job Description

POSITION OVERVIEW:

South Shore is looking for a Project Manager to oversee the day-to-day execution of our residential roof replacement projects out in the field. You’ll be loading + delivering materials, managing job site logistics, homeowner communication, completing on-site documentation, and ensuring our South Shore Install Teams maintain the South Shore Standard. On any given day, you’ll be coordinating with multiple roof crews, homeowners, and working in sync with our office team to keep projects running on time and up to spec. You’ll use checklists, systems, and teamwide communication tools to ensure every install is organized and completed to our standards. This role is ideal for someone who wants to develop into a future leader in more senior production management or project coordinator roles here with hands-on knowledge you can only learn in the field.

THE COMPENSATION:

  • $75,000 Yearly Salary Paid Weekly
  • Commission Opportunities for Things like Optional Add-On Sales to Current Roof Projects ($15K+ Additional Yearly Potential)

YOUR EXPECTATIONS:

  • Load up our stocked materials onto your company truck + 16' trailer to take and unload at your job sites each morning.
  • Be responsible for documenting all on site visits using our quality checklists with photos throughout.
  • Hold subcontractors accountable to our South Shore Standard for quality, communication, and dress code.
  • Handle customer communication during the day to day of each project you are assigned until completion and their full satisfaction is confirmed.
  • Run materials to job sites for the crews daily.
  • Enforce all company, IRC, and manufacturer installation specifications.
  • Assure that all materials workmanship and construction are in full compliance with the contract plans and building codes.
  • Share our business to the neighbors and businesses around all projects you visit.
  • Return leftover materials to our shop at the end of each day on color coded pallets.
  • Keeping your trailer or van stocked to match the inventory lists needed and cleaned.
  • Conduct final quality control inspections after completion of job as needed.
  • Report installation errors to crew leaders for correction, coaching, and to manage punch.
  • Go on warranty service calls as notified by management as needed.
  • Google Calendar will be used for all reminders, events, and office / personal scheduling.
  • Garage and storage areas are kept perfectly clean & organized, and the driveway blown off.
  • Stay on job-sites unless other priorities supersede and rotate throughout the day as needed depending on the scopes and management direction.
  • Complete minor repairs or adjustments needed to complete the job if the crew has left, only as needed.
  • Wash your assigned company truck at the automatic car-wash and the box trailer by brush once every 2 weeks at minimum.

YOUR SCHEDULE:

7:00 AM START TIME

SOME DAYS END AT 3:00 PM, SOME WILL END AT 7:00 PM, IT IS PROJECT + CLIENT DEPENDENT!

ON-CALL WITH COMPANY PHONE FOR ALL CUSTOMER AND PRODUCTION NEEDS.

A HALF-DAY SATURDAY, ROUGHLY ONCE A MONTH.
