We started with pastries handmade by Lois and Lloyd Martin inside of a garage and we have boomed into a multi-facility company where our many products are produced by machines and shipped domestically and internationally. Summary: As a member of the Martin's Family of employees, the Part-Time Merchandiser helps to organize and maintain Martin’s designated retail shelf space of assigned area.

This is a year round position that will involve driving your vehicle (if you live in the market area) or a company vehicle (if you live near Chambersburg, PA) to multiple locations in the Harrisburg, PA market area.

Wage:

• $17.75/ hour – Paid Weekly!

Scheduled Hours:

• Sunday and Wednesday - Shift starts at 6am

• It will be about 10-12 hours a week; subject to change during Holidays and peak season.

• Can be based in Chambersburg, PA through Harrisburg, PA

• Must has reliable transportation

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Maintain sufficient stock on shelves in assigned retail space.

• Maintain the stock area in a neat and orderly fashion.

• Maintain sufficient stock on the displays in the stores.

• Rotate shelf stock appropriately.

• Notify Route Salesperson of any issues encountered during processing.

• Communicate effectively with Store Manager and Route Salesperson.

• Apply price stickers to product if needed and set up displays if requested by Route Salesperson.

• Adheres to safety, food safety, and Good Manufacturing Practices regulations.

Education and/or Experience:

• High school diploma or GED;

• One to three months’ related experience and/or training; or

• Equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Must possess a valid Driver's License.

The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 15 pounds and occasionally lift/ and or move 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision.
