Are you a proactive, can-do person who thrives in challenging environments and enjoys working independently? We are seeking a dedicated overnight General Labor staff to join our hotel in a unique and dynamic location. As the sole team member on duty during the night shift, your ability to stay calm, think on your feet, and approach challenges with a positive attitude will be key to your success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

- Guest Services: You will be the go-to person for guest needs during the night, including late check-ins, check-outs, handling room requests, and addressing any concerns with a friendly, can-do attitude.

- Light Maintenance & Housekeeping: Perform light maintenance tasks and housekeeping in common areas to ensure a welcoming environment.

- Security & Peacekeeping: Monitor the property to ensure the safety of guests, enforcing hotel policies, and maintaining a peaceful environment. You will be responsible for de-escalating disturbances or guest-related issues in a calm and professional manner.

- Team Player: While you will work independently during your shift, we need someone who can align with the overall team spirit. You will communicate any night shift issues or concerns clearly to the daytime staff and help set up the next shift for success.

- Problem Solving: Take ownership of any challenges that arise, from guest concerns to unexpected maintenance issues. A positive, solution-oriented mindset will be crucial to ensure everything runs smoothly throughout the night.

- Reporting: Keep detailed records of incidents, guest interactions, and tasks completed during the shift to ensure smooth communication between day and night staff.

Qualifications:

- Can-Do Attitude: You are a problem-solver who approaches challenges with optimism and a willingness to tackle any task, big or small.

- Independent Worker & Team Player: While you’ll work independently, you understand the importance of communicating effectively with the daytime team and contributing to a positive work environment.

- Experience in hospitality, general labor, or maintenance is a plus, but not required. We value a proactive mindset and willingness to learn.

- Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills to handle guest interactions professionally and maintain peace.

- Physically able to perform tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs., standing or walking for extended periods, and performing general maintenance or cleaning duties.

- Ability to stay alert, responsive, and calm throughout the night, addressing emergencies and guest needs promptly.

Shift:

- Overnight (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM)

- This is a solo position, requiring the ability to work independently while maintaining safety and hotel standards.
