Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Mental Health Therapist at Empower Wellness. The therapist will be responsible for providing counseling services and creating treatment plans for clients. The day-to-day tasks may include conducting therapy sessions, assessing client needs, performing case management duties, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals. While the role is primarily located in Brandon, FL, there is flexibility for some work from home.

Qualifications

• Experience in treatment planning, social work, and case management
• Strong understanding of mental health principles and therapeutic techniques
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively with diverse populations
• Empathy and compassion for individuals seeking mental health support
• Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field
• Licensure REQUIRED as a licensed mental health therapist or licensed clinical social worker

Relevant skills and qualifications that would be beneficial for this role include experience in trauma-informed care, knowledge of evidence-based practices, and proficiency in electronic medical record systems.
