Mechanical Assembler
Job Description
Join our team as a Mechanical Assembler where you will play a crucial role in assembling small drones (3 feet or smaller) for military and defense applications. This role requires standing throughout the day and using small hand tools to make and assemble parts and sub-assemblies. Performing quality checks on parts is essential to ensure they are made to the highest standards. Following detailed checklists and procedures is critical, as quality is of utmost importance.
Responsibilities
Assemble small parts and sub-assemblies using small hand tools.
Perform quality checks on parts to verify proper manufacturing.
Follow detailed checklists and procedures diligently.
Maintain high standards of quality and attention to detail.
Essential Skills
Strong mechanical aptitude.
Experience in medical device assembly.
Proficiency with hand tools and quality control techniques.
Ability to work with small parts and tight tolerances.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Quality certifications such as TS16949, ISO 9001, AS 9100.
Experience with ERP systems.
Understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Military experience is a plus.
Computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Work Environment
Work in a climate-controlled, relaxed, and clean environment with individual workbenches. The shift is from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch and two 15-minute breaks. Overtime is expected.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Atlanta, Georgia.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $34.00/hr.
