Job Description

Responsibilities
Interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and design schematics
Calculate metal shapes and tolerances for precision fabrication
Design jigs and templates to support part production
Set up and operate drills, lathes, grinders, and milling machines
Cut, shape, and grind metal components to exact specifications
Assemble/disassemble tooling and dies to support production and minimize downtime
Inspect, repair, and test tools and dies for defects and functionality
Contribute to tooling efficiency and scrap reduction initiatives
Follow standard procedures for die maintenance and repairs
Record maintenance and repair data in SAP
Requirements
Minimum 10 years’ experience as a Tool and Die Maker
Preferred experience with progressive stamping (carbide lamination dies)
Skilled in operating metalworking equipment (drills, mills, grinders, lathes)
Strong troubleshooting skills in die operations and assembly
Capable of lifting heavy materials and handling carbide tooling
Familiar with quality control processes and precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
Detail-oriented with advanced problem-solving abilities
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Able to work independently and collaborate with engineers and machinists
Solid understanding of metallurgy and metal properties
Proficient in complex math (geometry, trigonometry, algebra)
Comfortable using Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word)
