Job Description

Our client, located on Cleveland's west side, is seeking a Human Resource Specialist to join their team. As a Human Resource Specialist, you will be part of the Human Resources Department supporting the HR team. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Human Resource Specialist

Location: Cleveland, OH

Pay Range: $25

Shift: Monday - Friday 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM (1 hour unpaid lunch)

What's the Job?

• Coordinate and support administrative functions within the Human Resources department
• Assist in developing, implementing, and administering HR policies, programs, and procedures
• Manage personnel records related to benefits, compensation, leave, and retirement
• Support compensation and benefits program administration and vendor selection
• Execute core HR processes such as onboarding, exit interviews, leave administration, and OSHA reporting

What's Needed?

• Experience with Workday or similar HR systems
• Generalist HR experience with 3-5 years preferred
• Knowledge of employment laws including FLSA, FMLA, ADA, and workers' compensation
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
• Ability to support diversity and inclusion initiatives
