Job Details Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of client accounts, managing day-to-day logistics needs
Negotiate competitive carrier rates to achieve margin and service objectives
Develop and maintain strong carrier partnerships to ensure a reliable transportation network
Manage the complete freight cycle, including quoting, booking, tracking, delivery, and post-delivery follow-up
Resolve service issues promptly to maintain client satisfaction and trust
Maintain accurate documentation and records within supporting systems
Prepare and deliver performance updates to internal teams
Collaborate across departments to support company goals and key initiatives
Qualifications
Demonstrated success in freight brokerage with an established book of business
In-depth knowledge of U.S. truckload operations, including dry van, refrigerated, flatbed, and LTL
Excellent communication and customer service skills, both written and verbal
Proven ability to negotiate effectively, manage escalations, and perform under pressure
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; prior experience with TMS platforms preferred
