We are looking for a dedicated Facilities Coordinator to join our team in Herndon, Virginia. This is a contract to hire Facilities Coordinator position that requires an individual with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to facility management. The role involves supporting daily operations, ensuring compliance with security protocols, and fostering positive relationships with stakeholders. Ideal candidates should be adaptable and interested in advancing their skills within a collaborative environment.

The Facilities Coordinator position will be working onsite M-F fulltime in Herndon, VA.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate daily facilities operations, including maintenance, repair services, and vendor management.

• Ensure compliance with strict security protocols and adapt to evolving site-specific requirements.

• Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to occupant inquiries and addressing facility-related concerns.

• Collaborate with the Facilities Manager to monitor budgets, track expenses, and implement best practices.

• Assist in managing small-scale projects, ensuring they are completed efficiently and within scope.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for emergency calls and follow established procedures to address incidents.

• Maintain accurate records and reporting systems to track operational performance and compliance.

• Support corporate goals by fostering strong client relationships and promoting satisfaction.

• Participate in site inspections and contribute to the implementation of innovative solutions.

• Ensure adherence to dress code and encourage an environment that values attention to detail and approachability.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen to meet location-specific requirements.
• Possess 1-3 years of experience in project management or facilities coordination.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to new security methods and procedures.
• Experience in a corporate setting with a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Comfortable working onsite daily, with no remote work options.
• Interest in learning and advancing within the field of facilities management.
