Job Description
Our client is seeking to hire a Butler/Housekeeper in Manhattan. The client is a young professional who splits his time between Virginia and NYC. The ideal candidate will have a service heart, have great attention to details, and experience providing 5-star service.
Responsibilities:
● Butler will work closely with the property manager who oversees the maintenance and operation of the residence.
● Be present/in-person contact to supervise contractors
● Retrieve deliveries and mail: open/scan/put away as needed.
● Handle ordering for the residence (normal essentials, house supplies, cleaning supplies, etc.)
● Prepare some meals/lite cooking.
● Lite cleaning to supplement housekeeping team.
● Inventory wine/alcohol.
● Run local errands (i.e. dry cleaning, pickup prescriptions, mail).
● Receive guests, anyone visiting the residence and inform the principal.
● Travel Packing/Unpacking for principal.
● Support events (dinner/parties) at the home.
Requirements:
● 5+ years’ previous experience in a similar role
● Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
● Excellent, verifiable references
Schedule: 6 days a week when employer is in residence
