Marketsupport Canada is currently seeking Brand Ambassadors to demo fire safety products at Home Depot stores all across Canada (Including St-Jean-sur-Richelieu, QC) for Fire Awareness Month in October!
Location & Date (1 visit required):
Home Depot – 850 Douglas Street, St-Jean-sur-Richelieu, QC J3A 1V1
(1 visit required – Candidate can choose either Saturday, October 25th or Sunday, October 26th, 2025)
Paid Training:
All selected candidates will receive paid training prior to their first shift.
Training will cover product knowledge, engagement techniques, and reporting procedures.
Training is included in your total compensation.
Responsibilities:
Communicate, engage and educate store customers on Kidde fire safety products
Checks-in with Client Manager each shift by texting when arriving and when leaving store
Will immediately complete small daily survey on home computer after each shift
Will submit a few photos of event and upload to survey sent to Marketsupport
Present a professional image at all times while at store, examples:
Dressed appropriately in Kidde Apron, t-shirt, black pants or jeans (no rips), and safety shoes
Not texting friends/playing games on your phone while at event
Always have a big smile on face
Not sitting down/wandering around store
Eager to answer customer questions, be courteous and polite
What we are looking for in a Brand Ambassador:
Bilingual French and can speak basic English
Reliability – if you are booked for a shift you will do everything in your power to be there, no excuses
Engaging – when you talk, people want to listen
Requirements:
Experience as a Brand Ambassador is considered a strong asset
Strong English and French communication skills
Ability to stand, smile and engage with customers for up to 4 hours in a day
Must have cell phone that can text and take pictures
Steel-toe/safety shoes and black pants or jeans (no rips) – Kidde Apron will be provided
Compensation:
$20 an hour (4-hour shifts) – drive time is not paid
