The successful candidate must have experience in SharePoint 2010 and 2013. The Developer role involves building and configuring SharePoint websites using the web UI, SharePoint Designer, or developing custom code. This person will be responsible for developing applications around core concepts such as Business Process Management, Collaboration, Business Intelligence, and Content Management. Responsibilities include: Participating in requirements analysis and developing solutions for all tiers of the SharePoint application, including user interface, middle-tier business components, and database layer. Participating in and assisting with the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of SharePoint business applications. Determining suitable presentation methods, visual elements, and programmatic objects to meet design and business objectives. Maintaining flexibility to adapt to changing needs and requirements. Planning and executing unit and integration tests to ensure reliability and minimize defects. Proactively communicating and enforcing best practice coding standards. Communicating effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate solutions. Collaborating with all levels of technical and business resources. Participating in design reviews and technical briefings with customers. Assisting in project development, defining technical requirements, and developing solutions. Providing ongoing support for applications. Designing and customizing SharePoint solutions. Planning and assisting with software version upgrades, troubleshooting, and debugging SharePoint sites. Minimum qualifications include: Bachelor's degree, certificate, diploma, or equivalent, with at least 8 years of experience. 3+ years of related work as a SharePoint Developer, with hands-on experience in developing and delivering web-based applications using SharePoint Technologies (Windows SharePoint Services, Office SharePoint Server 2010, Forms Services, Excel Services, Search, Business Data Catalog, and Web Services). In-depth knowledge of SharePoint 2010 and 2013 functionalities and features. Experience with solutions accessing external data via Business Connectivity Services. Experience building and maintaining applications using object-oriented methodologies. Excellent analytical skills and knowledge of project life cycles. Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
