Kauai Air Conditioning & Plumbing, a local mechanical contractor, is looking for a hard-working and motivated individual to join their team as a Warehouse/Delivery Driver. Being on time, reliable, hardworking and taking initiative is essential.

Candidates must have outstanding interpersonal skills, strong organizational skills, be detailed oriented, computer literate, and possess problem-solving skills.

In addition to a competitive base compensation, we provide the opportunity for a performance-based increase of up to 10% for a Warehouse/Delivery Driver who meets designated criteria. This increase is determined by individual achievement, with no fixed timeframe; however, it can occur as quickly as 60 days! We believe in rewarding excellence and providing avenues for professional growth, allowing employees to take charge of their earning potential within their own timeline.

Job Functions

• Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship).
• Deliver and pick up materials and equipment in company vehicle.
• Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store).
• Unload and load materials and equipment utilizing a forklift.
• Perform inventory control and keep quality standards high for audits.
• Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization.
• Complete daily logs and cycle counting of inventory.
• Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized warehouse.
• Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized warehouse vehicle.
• Take responsibility for safety performance and program compliance within the warehouse.
• Any additional duties/responsibilities deemed necessary.

Job Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Driver’s license required.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to relate with a variety of personality types.
• Motivated to learn all that is necessary to complete the job.
• Good Attendance.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work under constraints and to make the most out of allotted resources.
• Good organizational and time management skills to handle multiple issues.
• Attention to detail and completing work to a deadline.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Ability to work outdoors.
