About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP, General Manager for its Transformer Field Services business unit. The successful candidate will have overall responsibility for the national operations of the Transformer Field Services LOB, including managing a fleet of oil processing trailers and ensuring operational integrity. This role demands a leader with a proven track record in exceeding budgets, strong team management skills, and a focus on customer satisfaction and company culture. The VP, General Manager will be tasked with direct oversight of day-to-day operations, setting and achieving business growth goals, and maintaining a strong safety record in compliance with HSEQ, DOT, and OSHA standards. Financial and operational success, as well as the ability to lead a team with a servant leadership mindset, are essential. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience, with at least 15 years in operations roles within the Transformer Services industry. The role requires a leader with a strong sales background, capable of navigating complex sales and selling value over price. The VP, General Manager will be responsible for the location's budget, optimizing expenses, and managing P&L to meet company expectations. The position also involves providing leadership for project management, ensuring continuous improvement, and strategic business initiatives. The ideal candidate will be a problem solver, focused on growth, and dedicated to building strong relationships both within the company and with customers and vendors.
