About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP/Director of Finance to oversee and lead all financial operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of tasks, including financial statement preparation, general ledger functions, executive committee duties, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic long-term planning. Additionally, the role involves managing banking and insurance relationships, maintaining the ERP system and other back-office systems, and overseeing tax and compliance activities. The VP/Director of Finance will also serve as a liaison for the year-end audit, and be involved in inventory counts and maintenance, as well as other back-office duties as assigned. Candidates for this role at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least 10 years of corporate finance and accounting experience. Experience in a growing company, particularly within the $10-100 million range, and a background in scaling back-office operations are strongly preferred. The ideal candidate will also have previous experience with buy-side acquisitions, and working in a global company with operations outside the US. Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally as part of a team are essential for this position.
