We’re seeking a skilled UAS Pilot with expertise in LiDAR data processing to support advanced surveying and mapping projects in the Wilmington area. This role is ideal for a tech-savvy professional who excels in precision data collection and thrives in dynamic field environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate UAS platforms equipped with LiDAR and photogrammetry sensors for topographic mapping, construction, and infrastructure projects
• Plan and execute UAS missions, ensuring compliance with FAA regulations and safety protocols
• Process and analyze LiDAR and aerial imagery data using industry-standard software
• Collaborate with survey crews, project managers, and engineers to integrate UAS data into deliverables
• Maintain and troubleshoot UAS equipment, ensuring operational readiness
• Document flight operations and data collection activities for project records
• Support GNSS localization and machine control workflows

Qualifications

• FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate
• 3+ years of experience in UAS operations, with a focus on LiDAR data collection
• Proficiency in LiDAR processing software such as Terrasolid, Global Mapper, or similar
• Familiarity with photogrammetry software like Pix4D or Agisoft Metashape
• Strong understanding of GNSS systems and data integration
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions and travel as needed
