Job Details

• Establishes a therapeutic relationship and creates a detailed plan of care with the patient and family, mutually determining the aspects of care which are most important.
• Evaluates the effectiveness of plans and interventions to promote optimum achievement of established goals.
• Initiates and maintains open communication with other members of the team to assure that the patient and family receive the full scope of interdisciplinary expertise and services with a coordinated and integrated plan of care.
• Communicates with patients, families, subordinate staff and peers to ensure that plans and associated interventions are understood, operationalized and revised, as appropriate.

Job Requirements

• 2+ years of Med Surg experience - Required
• MUST FLOAT TO INPATIENT AND SDU - Required
• Travel Experience - Preferred

Unit Specific Information

• EMR: Paragon
• Dress Code: Grey or Bright Blue Scrubs
• RN to Patient Ratio: 1-4

Additional Details

• Nonbillable Hours: 12 hours of initial hours on bill rates over $40/hr
• OT/Holiday/Call back Markups: 1.1x Regular rates
• Extension Discount: $1/hr on the initial extension.
• McLaren's local traveler policy is to reduce the travel rate by 10%.
• Anyone with a permanent address within a 35 mile radius of facility is considered a local traveler.
