GQR Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Behavioral Health for a travel nursing job in Kerrville, Texas.

• 5 x 8's, 40 hours per week 

Shift: Mids and nights available 

• Every other weekend is required
• Every other weekend off
• They will try to give 2 days off in a row

RTO:  No requested time off will be approved at this time (can be discussed)
Floating:  Agency will float but primary need is for the maximum-security unit
Orientation:  conducted Monday through Friday from 0800-1700, for approximately one month
Holidays:  Must be willing to work 2/3 of the major holidays. 
Minimum Requirements:

• Must have 2 years RN experience
• Psych experience is a must – experience working in a maximum-security unit
• Preferably 1+ years of nursing experience in a behavioral health setting
• Charge nurse or supervisory experience is preferred
• Must be licensed by the state of Texas or a state that recognizes reciprocity through the Nurse Licensure Compact for appropriate discipline (RN or LVN/LPN)
• Complete immunization record, which meet HHSC requirements
• Must be able to successfully pass a urine drug screen and background checks
• Must have a valid photo ID and current American Heart Association CPR certification
• Must have negative PPD results within last 12 months
• COVID-19 testing with negative result required (we provide)
• COVID-19 Vaccination card if applicable
• Must be able to successfully pass a urine drug screen and background check (you provide)
• Must be able to successfully pass an FBI fingerprint background check (we provide)
