Job Title: TIG Welder

Job Description

This bonus eligible position involves performing all kinds of precision welding, brazing, and cutting using gas and electric welding equipment. The role requires setup, organization, and execution of all welding jobs with precision and skill.

Responsibilities

• Perform precision TIG welding, brazing, and cutting tasks.
• Set up and organize welding jobs effectively.
• Operate gas and electric welding equipment proficiently.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and weld symbols.
• Develop and utilize fixtures for welding tasks.
• Ensure all welds are sound, functional, and free of defects.

Essential Skills

• Minimum 2 years of TIG welding experience, including work with aluminum and stainless steel.
• Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding of weld symbols.
• Expert knowledge of the physical properties and welding characteristics of metals.
• Ability to produce high-quality welds free of defects.
• Effective communication skills in English.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Knowledge of fixture development and ability to track and store fixtures.
• Understanding of effects of heat, welding shrinkage, and techniques.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Dependability, honesty, integrity, and a proactive attitude.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $28.00/hr.
