Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Telemedicine Physician to join our team in Houston, Texas. In this role, you will provide high-quality remote medical care to patients through audio and video calls, as well as written communications. Your responsibilities will include monitoring prescription medication usage, renewing prescriptions, and referring patients to other healthcare specialists when necessary. You will also address any concerns patients may have regarding telemedicine services.

An exceptional candidate will stay updated on the latest developments in healthcare and demonstrate sound medical knowledge, along with excellent analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Discuss and review patients' medical history, symptoms, allergies, and current medications.
Engage patients with situation-specific questions to formulate accurate diagnoses.
Develop appropriate treatment plans for non-threatening conditions such as common colds, flu, ear infections, urinary tract infections, allergies, and rashes.
Order diagnostic tests to aid in accurate diagnoses and analyze the results, explaining them to patients in a clear and compassionate manner.
Prescribe suitable medications, ensuring proper dosage and administration instructions are provided.
Maintain thorough and accurate records of patients' contact details, medical histories, prescribed medications, allergies, diagnoses, and progress.
Advise patients on effective diets and exercise regimens to enhance their overall health.
Assist patients in managing chronic health conditions, providing support and guidance along their healthcare journey.
Qualifications:
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree, or a qualified Primary Care Physician (PCP).
Valid medical license with a willingness to obtain additional state medical licenses.
Board certification in Family or Internal Medicine, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Telemedicine Physician.
Strong medical knowledge and the ability to consult with patients through virtual communication channels.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Outstanding communication skills, with a patient and compassionate approach.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to providing the best patient care.
