Seasonal Tax Preparer

Nugen Law, an Elder Law and Estate Planning practice and Tax Care, LLC both located in Auburn, IN have immediate openings for part time and full time, seasonal tax preparers.

Tax preparer will assist with individual income tax preparation for clients of Nugen Law and and Tax Care, LLC.

Duties include:

General Duties - Tax Preparation

• Organize and summarize tax information provided by client - request additional information if needed
• Enter tax data into tax software
• Proof data entry
• Organize client file for review
• Provide support to tax supervisors

Education, Competencies, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Experience with preparing and filing individual state and federal income tax returns desired but not required
• Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality of all business and personal matters related to Nugen Law and Tax Care and their clients
• Previous experience working with computer and software
• Good communication skills.
• High degree of accuracy and detail orientation in work product
• Consistently act in a proactive, flexible and enthusiastic manner to create a pleasant, efficient and productive work environment.
• Ability to learn new software.
• Working knowledge of Office Suite of Software.
• Familiarity with UltraTax or similar tax software desired but not required

General workday of 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m., (or a portion thereof) Monday through Friday. Additional busy season hours are anticipated.

Wages:

Hourly compensation is commensurate with experience. Hourly rates begin at $17/hour.
