Inova Fairfax Hospital/ Inova L.J Children's Hospital is looking for an experienced NICU RN. The schedule is Full time (3x12) Rotating Day and Night Shifts (6 weeks Day shift, 6 weeks Night shift) or Full Time Night Shift. Sign on & Relocation available to qualified candidates
Minimum 1 year of NICU experience required; prefer prior NICU level III or IV experience.

Inova L. J. Murphy’s Children's Hospital is home to the largest, most comprehensive subspecialty neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) in the region. Our 108-bed, Level IV NICU cares for high-risk infants requiring specialized care and observation. The NICU is also the first in the nation to receive The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval™ for Prematurity. This certification represents the highest level of care for premature birth patients.

Job requirements
- Experience - 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse, 1 year of specialty RN experience if required by unit
- Minimum 1 year of NICU experience required; prefer prior NICU level III or IV experience.
- Certification - Basic Life Support; For Infusion Center, obtain chemo card within 3 months of hire
- Licensure - Licensed Registered Nurse or eligible for licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Registered Nurse
Education:
BSN from an accredited school of nursing.
- If RN has an Associate’s Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.
- BLS for Healthcare Provider certification required from American Heart Association (AHA)
RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a RN
