As a solutions architect  at Level20, you’ll have the opportunity to innovate in multiple business sectors by providing technical direction for new web and mobile-based products and services. You’ll be involved from research through delivery: leading technical discussions and exploration, providing technical designs. Additionally, you’ll contribute to “building the baseline” of shared code and infrastructure to promote acceleration through portability and reuse.

At Level20 (and ), Progressive’s growth incubator, we fuel growth for the company through the exploration and development of new-to-market products and services beyond Property and Casualty Insurance. Our team has the backing of Progressive, which gives us access to a larger resource pool than a traditional start-up.

This is a hybrid role in downtown Cleveland, OH (Office Location: 800 W St Clair Ave STE 200, Cleveland, OH 44113) with free parking. Work-from-home days are possible for this position (Monday and Friday).

Must-have qualifications  

• Bachelor's degree in an Information Technology discipline or related field of study (e.g., Computer Science, Information Systems, Management Information Systems) and a minimum of eight years work experience in one or more domain or platform areas.
• In lieu of a degree, a minimum of ten years work experience in one or more domain or platform areas.

Preferred skills 

• Proven ability to effectively partner within IT and the business to lead and influence others in a team-oriented environment
• Deep subject matter expertise in distributed application architecture, encompassing design, development, deployment, maintenance, security, and compliance
• Familiarity with database, web, mobile, and cloud technologies, DevOps tools, and scaled agile techniques.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as coaching and mentoring skills
• Previous solution architecture experience supporting build-from-scratch Application Development and experience with 3rd party vendor integrations

Compensation 

• $148,000-$175,000/year depending on experience
• Gainshare annual cash incentive payment up to 50% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
