About the Role

The Company is seeking a Senior Vice President of Finance to lead and drive financial management for the organization and its affiliate entities. The SVP will be responsible for overseeing all financial matters, including accounting, compliance, and revenue recognition for government contracts and private grants. This role requires a strategic leader who can adapt to a dynamic environment, manage various financial departments, and contribute to the development and implementation of the organization's financial strategy. The SVP will also be tasked with cash flow management, banking relationships, financial forecasting, and ensuring the Finance Department's compliance with financial plans and projections. Candidates for the SVP of Finance position at the company should have a Bachelor's in science, with a CPA and/or MBA preferred, and a minimum of 10 years' experience in nonprofit management. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in driving strategic initiatives and operational excellence, with at least 10 years' experience in a senior financial role within a nonprofit organization. Essential skills include critical thinking, change management, excellent analytical and decision-making abilities, and a strong background in nonprofit accounting and compliance. The SVP must also possess in-depth knowledge of regulatory bodies and funding sources, particularly in the areas of Medicaid and other relevant agencies, and have a deep understanding of nonprofit audit best practices and financial reporting for various stakeholders.
