Our office in Ringwood VIC is now seeking an experienced Senior Lawyer (5+ PAE) to join the Work and Road personal injury space. This exciting opportunity is now available for a proactive, passionate and results driven Lawyer who specialises in workers compensation matters. You will be working with one of our most experienced and respected practice groups nationally which will see you working collaboratively across a file load. A little bit about the workers compensation area: Our lawyers represent clients who have sustained a workplace injury or contracted an illness at work. These clients can be entitled to a range of benefits and compensation under the Workers Compensation Scheme. Our Lawyers understand that suffering a workplace injury can present major hurdles to overcome. They support our clients every step of the way with care, understanding, flexibility and support. We take care of the legal needs, so our clients can take care of their recovery. In addition to taking on a wide range of challenging legal matters, this role will also see you manage and strengthen existing community relationships along with initiating and building new networks. Your responsibilities will include: Instrumental in managing a workers compensation practice. Continually exploring new opportunities for your practice and developing new business. Maintaining strong client relationships. Exceptional negotiation skills and an ability to communicate effectively. Demonstrated skills in effective network and relationship management. Ability to exercise judgement and resolve problems expeditiously. What will you bring? You will be a committed and enthusiastic individual who possesses the following: Previous experience and a passion for Personal Injury, in particular, workers compensation law. A calm and easy-going nature. Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team. Ability to handle sensitive issues and challenging issues. Ability to exercise judgement and resolve problems expeditiously. Demonstrated skills in effective network and relationship management. What next?
