Senior Financial Accountant / Sr. Bookkeeper (CPA required, QuickBooks)
\n Location: Downtown Chicago (Walking distance from Willis Tower)
\n Salary: $70,000 - $85,000 (DOE)
\n Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire / potentially Direct Hire

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Accountant to play a key role in our financial reporting and consolidation processes.

\n Key Responsibilities: \n\n

\n\t
• Prepare and manage financial reporting in accordance with GAAP and IFRS.\n\t
• Consolidate general ledgers in multiple currencies (USD, CAD, EUR).\n\t
• Assist in quarterly financial reporting and SEC filings.\n\t
• Produce weekly cash flow projections and analyze variances.\n\t
• Handle journal entries and financial reporting for existing and newly acquired entities.\n\t
• Support the Senior Reporting Accountant in financial statement preparation.\n\t
• Participate in the integration of financial data from new acquisitions into QuickBooks Desktop.\n\t
• Assist in preparing quarterly audit documentation and liaise with auditors.\n

\n What We’re Looking For: \n\n

\n\t
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.\n\t
• CPA required \n\t
• 3+ years of financial accounting experience, preferably in a publicly traded company.\n\t
• Strong experience with QuickBooks Desktop (not QuickBooks Online).\n\t
• Knowledge of GAAP and IFRS standards.\n\t
• Experience with multi-currency consolidations.\n\t
• Prior experience in SEC reporting is a plus.\n\t
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.\n
