Overview Senior Elastic Search Engineer job at Fartech Solutions. North Carolina. Responsibilities Design and build search applications using Elastic Search for scientific datasets. Deploy applications to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) utilizing CI/CD best practices. Monitor and manage GCP resources. Work with data modeling, including semantic data and ontologies/taxonomies/business data. Utilize modern software development tools and practices (e.g., git/GitHub, DevOps tools, metrics/monitoring). Use infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform, YAML) for repeatable architectures. Collaborate in a cloud environment, especially with Google Cloud and Kubernetes. (Preferred) Contribute to UI and API development. Qualifications Education required: Bachelor's in computer science, software engineering, or related field (Master's/PhD preferred). Required experience: Minimum 1 year with Elastic Search, 2 years with Cloud technologies.
