As a Security Professional - Armed Patrol Driver in Reno, NV , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .

As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment within a government location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols, remaining highly visible to help deter unwanted activity, and responding promptly to incidents as they arise. This is an armed and driving post, requiring you to carry a firearm and operate a vehicle as part of your daily duties. You will interact with the public and staff, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while upholding the highest standards of professionalism. Pay Rate: $24.74 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeSat04:00 PM - 12:00 AMSun04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor access points and assist with controlling entry and exit to the location as required.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency services when necessary.
• Remain alert and observant while on duty, adapting to changing environments and conditions as required by the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military roles.
• Must possess a valid armed guard card or license as required by state and/or local regulations.
• Must have a valid driver's license and meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements for driving positions.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Current CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
