Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time or part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available within a special education cooperative serving elementary students in the Flint Hills region of Kansas. This contract position will provide valuable speech therapy services at one of two district locations: Emporia or Council Grove. Candidates should indicate their current residence preference when applying.

Responsibilities include delivering speech-language support to elementary students, typically serving small groups of 10-12 students daily and larger groups of 50-55 students across the week. The role demands onsite presence with flexible working hours. The contract runs from ASAP through May 20, 2026.

Key qualifications and skills:

  • Valid Kansas Speech-Language Pathologist license (KS SLP License) required
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
  • Experience working as an SLP in school settings
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized speech therapy plans for diverse student needs
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, educators, and families
  • Flexibility to work full-time or part-time hours based on availability
