Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A school psychologist position is available at an elementary school located in Denver, CO. This full-time, onsite contract role begins ASAP and continues through May 2022. The school seeks a dynamic professional with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to support a caseload of approximately 40 students.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing comprehensive psychological services, including assessments, counseling, and consultation to students, staff, and families
• Collaborating with special education coordinators and school administration to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Participating in data-driven decision-making and offering expertise to promote academic, emotional, and social success
• Assisting with behavioral interventions and crisis support as needed

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Licensed or certified school psychologist with relevant experience in elementary settings
• Strong ability to articulate professional experience and skillset during interviews
• Energetic and positive demeanor that fosters a supportive school environment
• Proven skills in conducting thorough evaluations and collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams

This opportunity involves a two-step interview process: the first interview with the Special Education Coordinator, followed by a second interview with the school principal. Candidates who demonstrate lively engagement and clear, detailed explanations of their skills are highly preferred.
