TIELLO has partnered with a highly successful Heavy Civil, Water, and Wastewater General Contractor in the East Bay and Central Valley , on their search for a Project Manager with experience in the Heavy Civil, Water, and Wastewater Construction sector to work on medium to large scale Heavy Civil, Water, and Wastewater Construction projects up to $100 Million .

The Project Manage r will be the company representative at the project site and oversee the entirety of the project. You will serve as the company's point of contact both with the client and with the construction team. You will engage in and influence the safety culture and have the authority to make decisions on the General Contractor's behalf about such items as cost and schedule. The project manager will also take part in selecting and mentoring project staff and ensuring that the entire team works together efficiently to complete the project safely, on time, and on budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Able to perform all essential Project Manager job responsibilities
• Experience and comfort performing Assistant Project Manager’s and Project Engineer’s responsibilities
• Estimate and establish budgets and contract price
• Negotiate cost-effective subcontract and material purchases
• Set up and implement job procedures and techniques to assure timely buyout, shop drawing approval, and material delivery
• Maintain the project schedule and budget
• Develop and maintain a good relationship with Owner, Architect, and Subcontractors
• Provide the client with value-engineered solutions when applicable
• Work with Superintendent to develop safety plans and to implement safety procedures
• Manage project deliverables
• Oversee and mentor the project staff to foster a positive team setting

Skills & Qualification:

• Bachelor of Science degree in construction management, civil engineering, or related field of engineering.
• 5+ years managing projects for a reputable heavy civil general contractor(s) with projects focused on the water and wastewater sectors.
• Heavy Civil, Water, Wastewater experience
• Experience with cost projection, financial analysis, budget reviews, labor reports.
