State-of-the-Art full service digital direct mail facility in west FL is searching to hire a Production Manager to oversee printing and inserting manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities include:

• Develop and manage the daily/weekly/monthly goals for the production depts. to ensure that company meets weekly capacity and scheduling and delivery requirements.
• Minimize costs wherever possible and ensure that Best Work Practices are maintained.
• Lead, coach and develop high performing teams with 6 direct reports.
• Continuously identify areas for Process Improvements using data. Make adjustments, measure and evaluate results.
• Budgetary responsibilities.
• Prepare ROI's and be able to justify equipment needs.
• Report regularly on production status to GM.

Qualifications include:

• Minimum of 5 - 7 years' production or operations management experience in digital and/or offset printing.
• Experience in transactional direct mail printing and inserting a plus.
• Good technical knowledge of digital and offset printing, prepress, and binding operations.
• Strong business acumen; budgetary and P&L experience.
• Experience implementing and developing Continuous Improvement Practices to improve efficiencies, reduce waste and down times.
• Excellent communication skills engaging with hourly and management personnel.
• Strong leadership, mentoring and employee training skills.
• Excellent decision making abilities.
• PC proficient.

Starting salary range: $90,000 - $95,000 + comprehensive health care and vacation benefits, generous 401k match and relocation package.
