What you will do: As our
PLC/HMI Programmer, you will help the Operations Team by developing and implementing software applications for the industrial controls market. You will develop applications which include control logic, data collection, operator interfaces, databases and network architecture for our products that help control and monitor one of the world's most valuable and limited resources-
Water ! This position works in our
Vacaville, CA location.
The job: Every day, your primary role will be creating integrated control systems by writing programs for PLCs and operator interfaces as required per plans and specifications. This work may also include configuration of Windows-based SCADA systems and networking to other devices. You will test and commission new systems as well as troubleshoot existing systems at customer facilities.
The skills you need: To succeed in this role, you must have experience writing PLC code and developing HMI applications for Rockwell, Schneider and other platforms and operator terminals. You will develop SCADA systems with AVEVA (Wonderware), Inductive Automation or other platforms. You must have a 4-year degree in Engineering and 4-6 years of experience is preferred. Experience with common industrial control devices such as VFDs, motor starters, and process instruments is also a plus.
