Physician – Anesthesiology

Location: DuBois, PA (with possible coverage at Clearfield, Brookville, and Elk facilities)
Start Date: November 24, 2025

Contract Length: TBD

Schedule

Coverage: Scheduled (No Call, except as noted)

Shift: Day Shift – Standard

Hours: Monday–Friday, 6:45 AM – 3:15 PM (or until last case is completed)

Block Schedules: No

Specific Dates at DuBois:

December 29–31, 2025

January 2, 2026

12/31 – includes night call

Work Details

Support Staff: CRNA coverage at each location

Coverage: Monday–Friday

Average Cases: ~40 per day at DuBois (includes Endoscopy)

4 Anesthesiologists and 15–18 CRNAs per day at DuBois

Lower volume at smaller facilities

Patient Population: Adult & Geriatric

Department: Anesthesiology

EMR: Cerner

Hospital Sizes:

DuBois – 272 beds

Clearfield – 50 beds

Brookville – 35 beds

Elk – 163 beds

Skills & Procedures

Bread & Butter General Anesthesia

ENT, GYN, Plastics, Endoscopy, Urology, Ortho, Vascular, Neuro, and Thoracic

OB, Trauma, and Cardiac cases only at DuBois

No Head, Heart, or OB cases at other locations

Practice Setting

Facility Type: Hospital-based

Trauma Level: DuBois is a Trauma Center

Requirements

Board Certification: Required (Anesthesiology)

State License: Pennsylvania (IMLC accepted, must already hold or be active due to quick start)

DEA: Required

CSR: Not required

Certifications: BLS, ACLS

Experience: Minimum 2 years

EMR Experience: Cerner (preferred/required)

Credentialing

Temps: Available for clean files within 1–2 weeks

Full Privileges: 60–90 days

Additional Details

OT Rate: 1.5x normal rate after 40 hours per week

All-Inclusive Rate: No

Licensing Assistance: Not offered
