• Establishing or maintaining patient profiles, including lists of medications taken by individual patients
• Maintaining proper storage and security conditions for drugs
• Answering telephones, responding to questions or requests by patient and Pharmacy Technicians
• Prepackaging bulk medicines, filling bottles with prescribed medications, and typing and affixing labels
• Mixing pharmaceutical preparations, according to written prescriptions
• Verifying prescriptions and counseling
• Assisting customers by answering simple questions, locating items, or referring them to the pharmacist for medication information

Specific Pharmacist requirements:

• Area: Ability to work in the McAllen, TX area
• Licensure requirements: Must have valid, open and active Texas Pharmacist license
• Education : RPh or Pharm D
• Years of experience: 1 year of recent pharmacy experience within a retail or LTC setting
• Schedule: Monday - Friday with rotating weekends
• Pay: $68.00
• Background/drug requirements: Ability to successfully complete background check and drug screen
