Clinic hours are M/W/F - 8a-4p, Tu/Th - 8a-5p. Pay is semi-monthly.

 

Patient Care and Infusion Assistant

We are seeking a qualified health care professional (MA, EMT, Paramedic, LPN, RN or equivalent) capable of placing IV’s and delivering medical care under the supervision of the medical director, a former emergency medicine / critical care physician, and clinical manager, a former ICU nurse. This job focuses on working with others, building and maintaining relationships, and working accurately within established guidelines. It requires an effective communicator: someone who is able to motivate others while understanding and responding to their needs and concerns. The person in this position must be friendly and genuinely interested in the needs of others. This person must have a persuasive, teaching-oriented mindset and be able to easily communicate and articulate details of the company's therapies, policies, programs, and systems. Detailed work is another major focus of the job; these details need to be handled quickly, correctly, and efficiently.

Objectives for Patient Care and Infusion Assistant:

  • Facilitating an exceptional patient experience to reinforce satisfaction, build trust and drive loyalty.
  • Welcoming and preparing the patient for examination by collecting vital signs and evaluations like body composition analysis, VO2 testing, and others.
  • Starting IV's, obtaining blood work and other lab specimen collection.
  • Assist with IV infusion procedures, administer injections, IV and oral medications (according to protocols)
  • Drawing up nutrients and medications for infusion therapies (according to protocols)
  • Laboratory specimen processing (according to protocols)
  • Monitoring patient condition and appropriate assessment charting
  • Readying patients and supplies for procedures
  • Performing laboratory result call backs to patients with documentation in the char
  • Operating medical therapy equipment like Gyrostim (with training, according to protocols).
  • Maintaining clinical rooms with necessary supplies and materials, ensuring cleanliness and helping with inventory
  • Assisting with any other patient or provider needs

  • Current applicable state licensure (preferred)
  • IV Therapy Certification (Required)
  • Aesthetics experience (Preferred)
  • Current BLS and ACLS certification (Preferred)

 

Salary and Benefits:

The salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established at $60,000 - $80,000 ($30/hr - $40/hr), plus incentive-based compensation, as determined.

The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training.

The above salary range (or hiring range) represents ViveWell’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

This position is not eligible for overtime compensation.
