About The MGH Main OR

Mass General Hospital’s Operating Room department is comprised of an outstanding team of OR nurses, Surgical Technologists, Equipment Techs, OR Assistants, and OR Coordinators providing care for patients undergoing complex surgical procedures.

Our patient population spans the range from neonates to seniors, with 16 services and 58 operating rooms including an intraoperative MRI surgical suite, Intraoperative CT scan Suite, robotic technology and much, much more.

Opportunities exist to advance your practice from novice to expert in a multitude of surgical specialties. Staff are engaged in precepting new staff (both experienced and new to the environment) and students from various education programs.

Staff also participate in staff development projects, shared governance committees, and process improvements projects on the unit.

• RN licensure in Massachusetts required.
• BSN preferred.
