We are seeking genuinely caring individuals to help our pet sitting team! Since 1992, Park Cities Pet Sitter has served pet parents by caring for their pets and homes. Join us in our office, where we get all the details correct for excellent customer service and support for our pet care professionals.

We are the most experienced, awarded, and trusted pet sitting company in the Metroplex. We are locally owned and operated, and our goal is to care for our staff, so they take care of all clients, four-legged or otherwise.

A day in the life of a Scheduler in our office: 

• Interact with our human and pet office staff in a friendly and professional manner.
• Find opportunities, not obstacles with each new day
• Show Team Loyalty with positive communications to both clients and staff
• Always be Learning about pets and their behavior, as well as the latest office technology for the industry
• Maintain client and pet records via our on-line software.
• Communicate with our sitters and clients throughout the day via phone, text, and email.
• Answer phone calls, text messages, and emails as they come in. 
• Schedule visits, send invoices, take payments, and all necessary office duties.
• Care for our 4 office cats by feeding, medicating, playing, scooping litter, and cleaning up. 
• Do small chores including retrieving mail, watering plants, taking trash out around the office.
• Ideal Part-Time Schedule would be Mon, Tue, Wed mornings starting at 8:30am
• Ideal Full-Time Schedule would be 8:30am-5:00pm Mon-Thur; and a flexible schedule on Fridays

We are looking for PART TIME & FULL TIME team members who live near the office:

Requirements:

• Have experience caring for the physical, social, and emotional needs of all animals.
• Be at least 21 years old, and agree to a criminal background check.
• Be humble, trustworthy, and dependable.
• Always be learning and detail-oriented with a strong work ethic.
• Available to be on-call for at least two weekends a month (Fridays 4pm-10pm; Sat/Sun 7am-10pm)
• Available to be on-call for major holidays (New Year, Independence Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas)
• Have access to a reliable car, hold a valid driver’s license, and have proof of current auto insurance to assist pet sitters when on-call. 
• Must have and be able to navigate a smartphone and PC by using apps, texting, and email.

Compensation & Purrrks:

• Pay ranges $16-$20 per hour, depending on experience and availability. 
• PTO (paid time off) available for all staff.
• Paid subscription to a tele-doc service.
