Job Title: Network Engineer

Location: Camp Lejeune, North Carolina

Clearance Required: Secret Clearance

Certifications Required:

• Sec+
• CCNA

Experience and Education:

• 10 years of experience
• Bachelor's degree in IT (flexible with more education or experience; CCNP can substitute)

Work Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8am-4pm (with some flexibility)

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist the Government Lead with daily engineering duties on systems.
• Perform general LAN/BAN/WAN administration.
• Schedule conversions and cutovers.
• Evaluate and design communication hardware and software.
• Troubleshoot LAN/BAN/WAN and other network-related problems.
• Execute LAN/BAN and Data Center Switching network design, integration, and implementation.
• Develop, update, track, and manage IP schemes and addresses.
• Assist with the development and integration of identity and access management requirements.
• Support engineering and design of VoIP services.
• Enforce DoD Unified Capabilities Requirements and monitor security updates.
• Operate standard AD services and Windows LDAP services for network devices and appliances.
• Monitor and optimize replication speed of directory services.
• Oversee Rights Management Services for administrators, users, and groups.
• Design, develop, and integrate application networking ports and protocols, IA, routing, and LAN.
• Perform integration with PKI certificates and network accounts to support two-factor authentication.
• Design, develop, and integrate network switching utilizing LAN, BAN, trunking, port channels, VLANs, and network security.
• Design and integrate multivendor solutions using Cisco, Juniper, Brocade, and other technologies.
• Experience with the performance, design, configuration, and testing of complex large-scale computer networks.
• Experience with DNS and DHCP.

Certifications Preferred:

• ITIL v3 Foundation
• Professional-level certifications in technology-related vendor solutions (e.g., CCNP Routing and Switching, CCNP Data Center, JNCIP) or equivalent experience.
