$18 - $22 per hour

• Collaborate with music instructors based in Washington D.C., DC, US to create engaging lesson plans tailored to students' needs.
• Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment for music instruction sessions at Leaders of Tomorrow Youth Center (LTYC).
• Provide personalized support to students requiring additional assistance in grasping musical concepts.
• Assist in the organization and upkeep of musical equipment and supplies at the facility.
• Partner closely with LTYC instructors to establish an interactive and enriching educational setting for students.

• Proven experience with one or more musical instruments (e.g., piano, guitar, violin, drums, etc.).
• Previous teaching or instructional experience is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with both students and staff.
• Passion for music education and commitment to student success.
• Basic administrative skills and proficiency with standard office software.

Since its inception in 2004, LTYC has continuously expanded its programming, geographic outreach, and calendar, expanding stronger relationships among schools, students, families, and the community.

LTYC has been able to impact the lives of more than 160,000 students, ranging from grades K-12. Many of our students come from schools in Baltimore City and surrounding areas that are in dire need of arts education and behavioral intervention. Our arts education instruction includes dance, theater, music, visual arts, media arts, creative writing, STEAM, culinary arts, Yoga, martial arts, and gardening.
