Job Description

Bach to Rock Redmond (B2R) America's Music School for students of all ages is a growing, agile and highly rated music school. This position is for a part-time employee to provide music and performance lessons, primarily voice, piano, guitar, bass, drums, and ukulele - group instruction and rock band/ensemble instruction highly desireable. We provide an opportunity to work a flexible part-time schedule (we're open Monday through Saturday) in a fun environment with other like-minded musicians. We handle the marketing, scheduling, booking, billing and other business aspects of the lessons & group classes so that you can focus on teaching. Position Responsibilities:

• Teach private lessons in piano, voice, guitar, drums (or other) located at our Redmond (WA) school.
• Create an encouraging, fun, and focused lesson atmosphere.
• Assess a student’s readiness to join a band or ensemble.
• Help students work on performances.
• Optional - Teach group lessons or rock bands/ensembles.
• Optional - Teach recording arts and/or record sessions in our recording studio on Pro Tools

Requirements:

• Must be able to read music notation and have a good understanding of music theory.
• Must possess advanced technique and be able to demonstrate this on their primary instrument(s).
• Effective time management and organizational skills to be on time for lessons and keep students on task.
• Comfortable as a performer (either solo or group)
• Ability to be engaging with both children and adults with a variety of personalities.
• Ability to pass a background check.

B2R offers an hourly rate that is based on education, experience, expertise, and availability. Bach to Rock Redmond is locally owned and operated by Inner Rhyme Enterprises, LLC. Job Type: Part-time Salary: $24.00 - $36.00 per hour, DOE Benefits:
