About the Job We are seeking a reliable, dedicated Mobile Phlebotomist to join our team in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan, and the surrounding areas.
Essential Functions: - A Phlebotomist is needed to complete the Insurance Medical Exams in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan, and surrounding areas.
- This is a Mobile position.
- Your office will be in your home.
- You will travel to the clients that you will need to meet with.
- This is a Flexible Schedule Position, as you will make your own hours, and you will decide how much you would like to work.
- This is an Independent Contract position.
Duties & Responsibilities: - Collect and store blood samples from patients.
- Distribute samples to designated departments.
- Monitor storage and inventory of supplies.
- Maintain a clean and healthy work environment.
- Adhere to laboratory safety policies and procedures.
- Assist in the recovery of patients with adverse reactions.
Qualifications and Skills: - Medical Students are welcome to apply. College students, pre-med, juniors, or seniors, looking to have a flexible work balance for school.
- 1-2 years of practical Phlebotomy Experience.
- Live in Michigan.
- Experience taking Vitals (Height, Weight, & Blood Pressure Readings).
- Computer Literate.
- Detail-oriented.
- Reliable Transportation.
- Can Pass a Federal Background Check.
- Very Organized.
- Excellent Communication Skills.
