Big Bear Veterinary Clinic is a two doctor mixed animal practice seeking a third motivated, team oriented veterinarian to join our team. We see anything from cats and dogs to horses, llamas and cows. We are a very close knit group and we consider our staff family.
Our clinic is located in Hayesville, NC, just a few hours from Atlanta GA, Chattanooga, TN and Asheville NC. There are so many things to do in this beautiful area, it truly never gets old. Outdoor adventures await, as there are unlimited trails, rivers, lakes and all the outdoor activities that come with them. We are also not far from several majors cities if that is more your scene. It is the best of both worlds.
Our hours of operation are M, T, W, Th and F from 8-4pm and Sat from 8am-12pm. We are closed on Sundays. Associate veterinarians will typically have one day off per week and work every third weekend. We are available on emergency for our active clients, so splitting emergency on call will likely be required. With that being said, scheduling is negotiable and we do believe that work-life balance is important. New graduates are welcome to apply and will be mentored as needed.
